Just a heads up.......... If any of you have been thinking about getting a clock for your roadking, here's a good person to deal with. I've been wanting one for awhile, but couldn't decide if I wanted the one that covers up the ugly console washer, or the one that goes over the fork lock. I finally decided that I wanted the one for the fork lock, but most of them are almost $100. I didn't want one that bad........ Then I saw a post from another member about this one, and pulled the trigger. The price was the same as everyone else wanted for the console clock, and half the price of a fork clock from the others, and shipping was free. They sent 2 follow up emails after the purchase, included a personal note with the shipment, and threw in an extra battery. They also have a 3 year warranty on it, even if you lose it! Hard to beat that, imo. This link is for a white clock, but I got the black one.
think I may get one, but it seems to install over the handlbar, and then tightened with an allen head set screw--- wouldn't that scratch the handlebar??
Clocks? Are you guys afraid you're gonna be late for dinner? Actually my 08 RK has one on the odometer doo-dad if I really want to know. I also wear a watch usually, so I am never late for dinner. But those do look cool, it would just be overkill on my scoot.
It installs over the fork lock, with 2 philips head stainless screws. I don't see how it will scratch anything, as it will be screwed in place. It's not gonna be moving around. I suppose you could make a gasket to go behind it if you were concerned though.

I don't wear a watch, and I never worry about being late for dinner. But I do sometimes wonder what time it is, and this is better than pulling out the cell phone to check the time, and risk dropping the phone running 60 mph......
having a working clock visible as a quick read gauge while your riding down the street is mighty handy. if you touring hundreds of miles in a day ya gotta keep an eye on the time. i have one that was made by formotion and i like it, but it eats batteries. i get a lot of positive comments on it. mine has a white face and i wish i got the black cause it would have matched the stock tank gauge better. i also wish i paid 44 bucks for it,,,, i paid twice that so thats a great buy.
