I had a rear brake squeak. So I was looking for a rear floating rotor. Couldn’t find one so I removed the rear calliper cleaned it up, took out the pads cleaned the backs real well. Then I put some blue disc brake quite on the backs of the pads. Let em sit for 20 minutes or so and reinstalled everything. That was yesterday.
Today I rode around allot and the squeak is gone!
Piece of cake.
Go it every 2,500 miles when you service your bike if you are using sintered pads. This guide Brembo Brake Maintenance GuidePDF Download has always been available for your use.
Cleaning your calipers & pistons because of noise should be the last reason why you would perform brake maintenance. The reason why you may be hearing noise could be because the piston is being held out due to pad dust build up. I have been mentioning this for years on this forum. Read the frequency of warped rotors on this forum, what would you think could be the cause? Think about it.

But I also used disc brake quite on the back of the pads.
