Default 2003 road king

i have a pretty good price on a 2003 road king. anniversary edition. it has 700 miles.
1. is the low mileage a concern
2. are there significant changes between 2003 and now. i remember something about an upgrade on the road king in 204?

thanks in advance

Depends on what you mean by a pretty good price..
Significant changes on touring bikes happened with the 09 models.
I would get some history (was it in storage of some kind?, etc..)on the bike from the previous owner.
Good Luck.

Good Luck.
07 came the 96" and 6 speed tranny, And 08....

TBW
6 gallon tank
Brembo brakes
ABS option
Seat change

As for low mileage, the owner may have thought that since it was an anniversary edition that he should keep it with low mileage.

How can we help you determine if you're getting a good deal when you don't mention a price?

I would be concerned about the extremely low miles and want to know the full history on the bike.

Many 100 year badged bike have been kept very low miles as 'supposed' investments. SO that really does not bother me. But as noted before, give us the price and we'll tell you if its 'good'.

You can also have the dealer check the bike out. after that add an oil analysis and if that pans out good and the prices really is good - have fun with your new friend.

I love "the king" and have no plans to get a newer bike.

Is it the black/silver? Does he have the gold key for it? If the answer to the first question is yes, my recommendation is to buy it. Would be better if the answer to the second question is yes also.

2003 Road King, 12,500 is too high IMHO.
