Default 98 Ultra Classic Fuel Injection

anyone out there have this happen to them... I was riding yesterday and I came upon a stop sign that I stopped at and at an idle waiting to go from stop sign my idle would not come down to normal rpms, which is approximately 700, it was stuck up at about 1300 rpms and wouldn't come down... well the next stop I made it was still up there but now was at approx. 1000 rpms, the next stop I made it was down to normal, but then the next stop was back up at 1000 rpms, and it was like this for much of yesterday up and down... haven't tried it today yet but will only be a short time before I'm out there... any ideas...??

thanks

Have you tried a momentary disconnect of the battery? It may not help, but it will only take a few minutes to find out.

i have just purchased a 95 ultra, had the same problem all of the time! Took it to the dealer. The tech made some adjustments and hour and a half later and $170 lighter, the issue was nonexestent, so it can be fixed! The magnetti marelli f.i. Was apparently a touchie system that's why the changed to delphi in 2000. Other than that,it runs fine.
