not just because i have them, but the Gerbing has just too go of a name and reputation to look anywhere else. like you, did my research and kept coming up with gerbing
Yeah it looks like gerbings is one of the best out there.
i dont suppose anyone knows what the exo2 stormwalker 2 heated jacket is like? It uses batteries like the gerbings vest but also has heated pockets and of course sleeves. It doesnt have the adjustable temperature control though as its supposed to provide constant heat at a certain temperature.
Wow, never had a response that quick from any other forum .
Thanks for the info, looks like il be saving up for a gerbings jacket
You might consider the Gerbings or HD jacket liner instead. With it you can use it with any jacket and with or without the heat activated. It also has connectors in the sleeves for heated gloves, which to me are more important than the liner. Don't forget a thermostat, preferably a dual-control that will handle both gloves and jacket/liner. I have the single-controller only because I bought it when I had gloves only, and am making do with that, but it pumps a given amount of juice to both and you can't balance them.
I don't know about now, but earlier this year HD had the new type of Gerbings liner technology that they had not incorporated into their own brand of garments. I bought one and have found it to be very good, so if you can find a good discount these are a best buy.
