for a while I owned both a softail classic and an Ultra classic. My thought was that I would ride the softail around town and the Ultra when I went on trips. I ended up riding the Ultra all the time because I like the ease of use of the tour pac...ya know you can carry a pizza in there? I sold the softail and have owned Ultras ever since. I think you will mis the dresser if you sell it.

before this i had a Street Glide before that i had a heritage so i know what they're about
jersey jeff, if you liked your previous streetglide, then you've already got one. just strip your bike down to that stage and you'll have one. thinking that after having ridden a touring harley, nothing else would be so versatile. i dig the new fatbob dynas, but remembered that if i wanted to carry a can of coke, or raingear, etc, it had better fit into your pockets. with the money and work you've invested in it, it'd be a shame to be kickin yourself as you saw it riding away.
