My scoot looks great EXCEPT I don't routinely clean the tires/wheels (as you know - it is a pain in the a$$).
Yesterday someone told me my rear tire looked like a junk yard special [:@] And yeah, it does, kinda dirty brown and super DULL - mostly from brake dust I guess.
Do you guys/girls know of a miracle quality cleaner that will clean the tires, whitewalls and wheels and liven them up "all in one" easy procedure???
Armorall seems to work nice on cages but all of those have a distinct warning "NOT for motorcycles" - may be too slick for a two-wheeler.
LET'S HEAR IT, WHAT DOES EVERYBODY USE THAT IS EFFECTIVE, QUICK AND AND SAFE???
Mr Clean Magic Erasers!!! You can get them at Walmart in the auto section. They are dense sponges (4 to box) that are full of soap of some kind. They make my Road Kings white walls, well white again. See picture below. My white walls were covered in brake dust just before this picture. Took me about 30 minutes to have them look like this! Good product!!
I've been a simple green man for years. Might have to try that Mr. Clean stuff, hadn't seen it. Is it safe on all surfaces and parts that are near the tires?

It seems to have an abrasive to it. I wouldn't put it on too much else. I wouldn't put it on the paint or chrome.
Here is the back of the box with the warnings about painted surfaces.

Sorry I haven't figured out how to puy a pic on this page but my RK Classsic tires are immaculate. The secret for me is WESTLEY's whitewall cleaner. You cna buy it at any WalMart. It is in a white spray bottle. It is safe on all surfaces. I even used it on my boat seats. Wholly caw!!! It works quick and requires little effort. About five bucks for a bottle.
