Default Intermittent Engine Check Light

I took my new '06 RK Classic for a 170 mile ride yesterday. First saw a Engine check light at 123 miles that went off before I could get pulled over. I checked oil which was fine and engine was running well (no oil light came on.) I let it cool, as temps were in low 90's, then resumed travel. I saw the engine check light 3 more times but it never stayed on for long....maybe 15 secounds max. I never saw it again in the last 25 miles of travel. All speeds at 40-50 mph riding solo. I've checked battery connections, oil level, no leaks and it starts up a runs fine. Any ideas before I contact the dealer? Do the ECM's store fault codes?

Yes they store codes. It sounds like you just have a code stored. No real big deal if it goes back out. You can go have the dealer see what the code is, and clear it, or it may just clear it self off the bike too.
