I recently had my fuel valve assmebly replaced at the stealers, I went on a 700 mile R/T ride this weekend, and noticed that sometimes my engine light would come on. It would stay on for a short while then go off, only to come on again later mostly in 6th Gear.

I checked the oil, and temp nothing out of the ordinary, the bike ran fine.

Has anyone else had this problem, if so what did you do to fix it.

Do a site search for check engine light. There is a proceedure to clear the error out. If after clearing code it returns go through process again and you will see a code. Mark this down and call a friendly dealer that will provide what the code is saying.
