i REALLY like that fairing on the RK... kinda like an 'instant street glide' (almost)- best of both worlds.
however, my stock windshield is fine for now... after all, when your wife buys you a new Road King- the thrill is still here!!!!
Are you using the DeadCenter head unit -- what do you think of it?

I am very pleased with Dead Center Cycles on my RK.
Ram - that looks good on your bike..... yours is the only one i've seen w/ guages installed..... How hard was it to install and wire them?

The gauges are Livorsi Marine. I figured that anthing that stands up to those kind of enviroments, it wouldn't hurt to have on the bike.
As for wiring it, well thats another story all together. I did the gauges, the stereo, the cylinder fan, the air horn and the premium oil cooler all at the same time. Gas tank had to come off, wiring harness had to be custom made, all the speaker wires from the rear travel trunk had to be ran accross the back bone in the wire ways with the antenna lead and all the rest of the wiring for power, relays, fuses, and all had to be heat shrink to keep the weather out. Not to mention ground, the fairing is not metal and needs a healthy ground.
And the oil psi gauge was kind of tight, had to stack the sender out with 3000 psi hydralic fittings to get the sender in a no touch spot, then run all the sense wiring to them and keep them sheilded from heat and weather!

Have a SONY Marine CDX-F50M, AM/FM/CD/MP-3 and XM Ready. Putting out 17-22 watts RMS per channel, driving the 4 speakers just fine. Have to make a little enclosure for the XM modules still and find out what I want to do with the XM antenna!
