Wow!! What a mess!! I could very easily see that happen. I ride with a friend who has a bad habit of stopping suddenly for gas, smoke break, snack, etc. and I've almost nailed him a few times. (and yes, I pay attentin to the road) Trying to stay in a group formation has it's good and bad points, this was obviously a worst case scenario. I pray for those who perished.
Wow!
I watched the video they did with an eye witness. He says there was at least one person killed. Thoughts and prayers to all those riders and their families. I want to know how this happened? If you hear anymore about it please post.

Right, like were they tring to cause that by slamming them on? If the rest of the traffic was moving why would they do that?

wow crazy, hope people heal up and are ok.
Many Mc's ride in a very tight formation and when some *** hat does what the suv's did its can cause a mess like this. When you got twenty plus bikes a foot from each other running 80mph and someone locks up the brakes its not good situation and not many places to go.

One reason I don't like group riding. I like the concept of group rides, but I don't like group riding. Hope they're all OK. I thought this quote from a witness was interesting...
I guess she hasn't seen those bagger wheelie videos.
“I know some people say they must be up to no good: They were racing or doing something. But anyone who’s familiar with Harley-riding knows you don’t race a Harley, you don’t do tricks on your Harley. You just ride,” she said.
