Pawn and CW4, I couldn't agree more. Have fun and enjoy the new ride. The thought has crossed my mind a few times now. Leaning more toward the Streetglide.
don't believe in car payments or bike payments. save your money and buy what you can afford, new or used, and pay cash! Dave Ramsey is right! But, since it is too late for that, you and your lady enjoy it and ride safe.

i WAS RIDING AN 08 Street Bob and while at the Harley shop here in Ga today a joke turned into an great upgrade.
I have to have a reflective vest to ride on base, so after looking around town, I found that the Icon vests are 10 bucks more expensive than the harley vest. So I loaded up the wife and kids and headed the hour and a half ride to Tifton HD to get me a vest. Made our purchase and was browsing around looking at stuff for my Street Bob and My wife is talking to the sales man about a bike for her (second reason we were there) We are screwing arounf looking at the Cross bones and Road kings, and she sat on the road king (sales guy had to hold the bike up so she could sit on it, she cant touch the ground) and she really liked it. So he looked at me, and said what would it take to put you on this bike today? My wife, let me say this again, MY WIFE ANSWERED HIM, Pay off his bike, no down payment, and keep the payment the same, He walked off 10 min later he came back and said So, how do you like your new bike, lets go fill out the paperwork. As we sat down, they called for the bike to go to service.
Isnt it great, how you go to shop for a 45.00 vest and come home with a 19k new bike? Cool thing is, my ol lady is just as into it as I am, so she is cool with me buying it. We went for about an hour or so ride around town tonight, showing it off to my buds here, and the ride is amazing over the street bob, Man I wished I would have done this years ago...

HAHA my friend did the same last weekend..wanted $12 boot straps and rode home with a $23k streetglide..
Yeah, i'm all about the need for pics too! I am about to jump the fence and get me the new 2010 RoadKing. Im in Iraq and will return to Hood in December. Trading in my 02 Sporty 883. Best part is the dealer back at Fort Hood, TX told me to send him the Quote from the Military sales here and he'd meet it. I did, and he went 200 bucks below! You got a great wifey. Mines bought her a 09 Sporty 1200 in August and loves to ride. Stay safe fella and Congrats!
And if you had that in writting and took it to AAFES they would have beaten that one as well... That is their guarantee ... You even have some days after picking up the bike to see if you can find it cheaper.
