I use the Franklin ones from Wal mart... Sporting good stores i saw UA for Boxerjox for $35.00 for 2 pairs yesterday here at Hippit sports...Should be the same at Dicks. LD comforts are apparently the best on the market with no seems at all on the butt...

For cold days - yes. I think you will want the Heat Gear ones for hot sweetie azz days.

Cold Gear for cold days and Heat Gear for hot days.

I prefer the Heat Gear Boxerjocks to the Compression shorts for two reasons: cheaper and more importantly a fly. I prefer not to have to pull my pants down to take a leak on the side of the road.

The Compression shorts are a slightly heavier feeling better quality though.

I also like the UA much better than the cheaper brands. I started wearing the UA a couple of months ago on a 2500 mile ride and got by with two pair by washing them every night. They would be dry the following morning so I guess I could have got by with one pair.

The swoosh people make them as well for about $20 and they last a long time. I've been using them for about 3 years now. Big difference on hot days and very comfortable on long rides no matter the temperature. All the sporting goods stores carry the swoosh version. Website wouldn't let me post the brand name.

I have used them for work. They work well. I always use the compression tshirts for work. Keeps my cool under my vest.
