Smile Bought a 2010 FLHTK

Well, I honestly thought I would keep my '07 "forever". But the temptation hit me too hard. Also, I had one particular close call where I almost went high-side during a rear tire skid and decided I wanted a bike with ABS. I have to say, I'm really glad I made the switch. I don't know if it's just the new frame or whatever, but this thing handles and rides so much better it's hard to put into words. It's so much smoother and handles the curves a ton better. I really didn't have any expectation of it being near this much of a difference/improvement. I also really like the "fly-by-wire" throttle, the heated hand grips, the much improved gauge markings and dash lights, the bigger tank and especially the power. I had done the Zippers 103 "Muscle Kit" on my '07. While this may not be quite as fast, it really has a ton of low-end grunt. It rolls up and down hills very nicely and doesn't require shifting very often. This makes it really nice to cruise on. I picked it up this last Friday and by Monday I had just passed 1,000 miles. I guess it's obvious, but I'm a very happy man.

Any questions, let me know. If you are thinking about it, do it!

Did the same thing last weekend with my 05 Road King, there is just no comparison to the ride of the new frame. It blows away the 05 RK in road ability. I'm a happy camper.

I just picked up my new Limited a week ago. Black on Black Ice. What a nice ride! I traded my '06 RK in on it. I have almost 1000 miles on it within the first week. Rode it to Del Marva Bike Week last week. Some people thought it was a custom paint job on it. It's a lot of money to spend on a bike, but I am certainly happy with it. Rather give some money to Harley-Davidson instead of the new administration which wants to "spread the wealth" to lazy-*** people. Just my two cents worth. Jr.
