Default Motor Mounts?

OK, I did a seach and couldn't find anything SO I'm asking about the Motor Mounts on my 06 Classic that has 30K.
I just changed the fairing supports because as we all know they break, A LOT, and I seem to remember seeing someone say to check the FRONT Motor Mount.
So what am I looking for and how hard is it to change. Was there a upgrade on these or do they just wear out? It seems the motor is moving more then it use to. Should I change all or just the front?
Thanks for the Help!!

The front motor mount is the topic of ALOT of threads on this forum. It isn't difficult to replace with the use of an additional car jack to slip under the motor and lift the engine weight off the front mount. A good tutorial can be found here:

Many people have changed theirs out and been dissatisfied with the increased vibration. For some it settles down after a few hundred miles, for other, not so much. I've traded mine off and on twice, but you might be different.

I'm sure others will chime in on this. Good luck.

It is a good idea to check the torque on the front mount every oil change. My friend owns an 03' and has found his loose twice (needing re-torqued) in 50K miles.

I've heard of people using mounts from Glide Pro. I don't know if they're replacements, or replacement bushings. I just became aware of this issue myself. Fairing Brackets, cam tensioners and motor mounts. Other than that, the tc 88 is a pretty great bike.

I just ordered a Glide-Pro yesterday. It is a complete replacement including a new bolt/nut that is heavier duty/thicker than stock bolt. Check out their web site at www.glide-pro.com. I'm replacing a Velva-Ride that has 6000 miles. I've been chasing a vibration that occurs at a certain rpm. (no tach, so think of 10mph in 1st, 20mph in 2nd, 30in 3rd and so on.)

Anyway, I hoping to have it by end of week and will post an update.

My early build 06 Classic was replaced with an upgrade, 16207-79C if I read it correctly, in October of 06 by the dealer.
I replaced that one myself in September of 08 with 16207-79D and now with 22,000 I still have original radio brackets on my bike.
