I just got my PCV and stage 1 se air kit today from fuel moto only problem i was having is trying to wedge the connection between the battery and the main harness. After alot of pushing I managed to fit it in BUT the tray wont sit right on the battery I ended up trimming the tray to fit aroound that connection. Anyone else run into that problem?

I recieved my PCV and Exhaust from Fuel Moto yesterday and havent had a chance to install it. Im curious what the response will be. I havent removed the seat yet but was wondering how much room there is.

I am not sure but I think if you do a search, you will find that most had to trim their battery tray on the 08's.
I had the exact same problem. Still not happy with the way I have routed the looms. I'll change it next week when my mufflers come in.
I looked on PowerCommander's website at an '09 Installation video, and the guy slips a few plugs out of the way, pushes the main loom connection down in the space between the battery and frame, puts a couple small plugs back in their original location and is done. Took about a minute for him. I tried to do it before seeing the video and without moving any of the other connections that are in the same vicinity. Looks like I will need to move those to make it fit like they say it will fit.
Good luck on yours and I'll post back about mine next week. I do love this PCV.
yes, i had same problem.. i cut out a knotch out of the tray so it would sit back in orginal position. i couldnt get my seat on if i didnt knotch the tray.. my worry is having the connector right against the battery and fram. its real tight.. i hope it dont crack the big OEM connector... i have the ABS option on my 2008.. it is a tight fit...
Yes very tight fit I notched out the tray so that it will lay at its original location and going to see how its works out installed the se air today as well and took off the stock pipes my Rush slip-ons are arriving tomorrow cant wait!
I had that problem. I pulled the plug down and placed it under the right side cover. I wire-tied it to the front of the box under the right cover. In my case, that was much better than cramming it in front of the battery.

Lass - you nust not have ABS if you were able to put it under the side cover?
