This spring I was lucky enough to pick up a slightly used 09 Streetglide which is an awsome bike, which also left me with my original 2001 softail. My first Harley. Well as much as I loved the bike I was getting tired of it barely getting used and paying insurance and such on it. So last week I put it on craigslist and today it went to a new home. I have alot of great memories on that bike and it was hard to see it go, I may even regret selling it but the money can be put to use elsewhere. I just thought I would share in my joy and pain

 

As long as you have at least one bike in the house you are okay. But...the more the merrier.

I have had to do that too..sold my 92 heritage this summer and bought a new 09 two hours later ..couldn't be without a sled and couldn't take the pain from sellin my old ride ,,but i'm still ridin and smillin

 

I know how you feel. I had a '06 Fat Boy that I traded on a Road Glide, which I shortly regretted later (never got used to a fairing not turning with the handle bars). Anyway, though I had another Harley ('09 SG), I really missed my '06 Fat Boy and decided to try to find another one. Found one in pristine shape with only 1,100 miles on it and immediately bought it. I can't relate how much I enjoy the '06 FB, except to say it's like putting on your favorite slippers and getting into your favorite chair. Every time I ride it, it's like coming back home from a long journey.
