I get alot of sun glare on my gps screen any tricks to that fix?

 

Move to Washington state or Oregon. I couldn't resist.

 

Come to Mississippi! It's rained here every day since Sept. 1. Can't even get the bike out of the garage much less the GPS.

 

On e-bay search for sun-stoppers.It's a shaped piece of material that velcros to the GPS and works perfectly.I think I paid 10 bucks for it.

I have found that on my Road Glide most of the "glare" is the reflection of the shirt that I'm wearing. If I wear my vest or a plain dark colored shirt, I can navigate a lot better. Just a thought.

 

Have seen several glare stomper (style) covers on trike GPS units. They look a little funny until you get used to them but they do work very well. I have the same glare issue. Was told not to buy a GPS for a car but did anyway. Now I understand why. Hindsight ya know.
