Default New Hinge question

i fear i am asking a stupid question. I mounted the new chrome hinges on my tour pack. Now wondering if they are left and right/front and rear specific??????

I just put mine on last month with some help from freinds and no it dosen't matter which one goes where they are both the same.

Nope, They are the same. Don't overtighten, some folks here have mentioned cracked paint.
