Thank GOD for compression releases! This bad boy will kick the starter back on itself in a heartbeat!

Must be all that pent up frustration within the jugs.

Gonna shoot for dynotuning early next week.

After spending some time breaking this build in, I'd definitely suggest CR's to anyone considering a build like this. It will save your starter and time having to go back into the heads if you don't do it first go round. IMO.

Here is a tune by the tuner that I will be using. This build is VERY similar to mine except he has the TBW vs. my cables. Fine tuning by Ed Dahir @ The Dyno Difference in DFW, TX area.

I have a tentative scheduled tune date for Monday/Tuesday of next week with Ed and I HOPE mine tunes well and produces excellent numbers.

My '08 Ultra is in the shop right now for almost the identical build you did. Basic difference is I already have the SERT, Ness Big Sucker and Rinehart Dual Headers with Rush 1 3/4" slip-ons. The rest will be identical to yours.......like you, I hate to see my scooter in pieces but I hope I get the satisfactory results you got!!!

If your builder pays attention to specs and detail, you'll be tickled pink. Stock runs like a PIG once you've climbed on a decent build.......even as conservative as this build is, it is a pleasure to ride.

Report your findings when you get your bike back!

Will do!! However, when it comes home it will be on three wheels. I'm also puttin' a Champion Trike Kit on it which is the reason for the 103" upgrade. If I see the same performance as when on two wheels I'll be happy....If I see improved performance I'll be friggin' ecstatic!!!

Well, all I can say is that those numbers are to die for. HP isn't high but who cares with TQ numbers like this and at RPM's where you ride: 100 ft./lbs. from 2100-4400 rpm peaking at 115 @ 3200. You could get in the stump-pulling business part-time if you wanted to.

100+ ft/lbs from 2100 all the way to 4500 rpm? Crazy good numbers for the way I ride. I'm planning the 255 cams as my winter project. I already am at 103 (via 07 police motor). I've been shopping cams for the last couple of months, and have somewhat reluctantly decided I'm not gonna chase HP numbers, but concentrate on the torque where I consistantly ride... 2500-4000. I'm thinking I'll do the cam install, and then try to decide on SERT or PC.
