Talking An alternative...

On the Hilton Head Island Cross Island Parkway, South Carolina's first and only toll road, there is just enough room for a bike to squeeze through the toll lane without triggering the sensors.

Default Saddlebag Lid

Saddlebag lid sounds like a good idea. I'll try that. I don't have the windshield pouches, I have the flat dash. I'm getting tired of the suction cup circles it leaves on the inside of my windshield!!
thanks for all the responses.... I will try a few of these and see which works best.

Some have also remove the fairing and used velco to install it under the fairing.

Used to keep mine in the windshield pouch worked every time but didn't quite fit so I tried the saddlebag lid...didn't trigger the two tolls coming home from Delmarva so back in the windshield bag it goes.

If you use your saddlebag lid make sure you try both sides before giving up. Started with my left bag and would not work. Moved it to inside lid of right bag and it works every time. This is in NJ,DE an NYm
.Just use mounting tape provided to stick to top of inside lid. I have classic leather bags but have heard it works with standard bags as well.

Have mine in the Right Saddle Bag, and seems to work fine there. Just make sure the arrow is pointing up when mounted.

I live in a gated community... I keep the transponder to the gate on the inside lid of one saddle bag, and my Sun-Pass on the inside lid of the other saddlebag. Both held up wiht velcro.... Never had an issue.
