Jamie, is there no other option to get more sound out of the right mufller with out disterbing the left side in order to keep some of your design and not lose too much low end tq?

The baffle design is very specific with the Dyno Tuned mufflers and while you could change the RH baffle for more sound and try different sizes to keep the low end power this is all stuff that we spend hundreds of dyno runs already doing. More importantly, keep in mind when we developed the Competition baffles we started with a clean slate and were able to build an excellent power curve with a very broad Tq curve, with more sound over the Dyno Tuned muffler. The Dyno Tuned mufflers set the bar very high for low RPM Tq, we have never seen any muffler build better numbers on the dyno.

So it sounds like I need to decide if I want the performance or sound (my sound - loud)...not going to be able to get both...

Thanks so much for your help Jamie!!!! It is really nice to know that there is a company out there that works really hard to give motorcyclist options and GREAT customer service.

Hey Jamie, have you measured the difference in sound output from standard Jackpot Dynos to those with Competiion Baffles? Just wondering how much louder the competition baffles are (loud is good for me).

Jaime,

I have the Jackpot Dyno tuned mufflers on an 09 Ultra with a PCV and A/C (your package). Will I need a new tune with the competition baffles?

Thanks

And also, do you have a dyno chart of the competition mufflers?

Best regards.

Wow..alot of great info here.
I wasn't sure I'd change mufflers after the SE A/C and PCV, but Jamie has me think'in.

Thanks Jamie..It's pretty cool to be able to get info straight from 'the man himself'.

The Competition baffles will use a slighly different fuel map and we will have dyno charts up when we add them to the site next week.
