I swapped my Road Glide (08) seat for a comfort stitch off a Electra Glide and have been very happy with it if I ignore the looks. But that said, someone took it off his/her bike in order to sell it to me.

You need to break it in. I've put 175K on stock 92 seat.

I think its probably a matter of opinion like exhaust, etc... I love my stock SG seat! I have put 350+miles on in a day and I have no complaints! Of course my last bike was a slammed Softail with a badlander seat and 18" lowprofile rear tire so... maybe I just havent been on a comfy seat yet?
