+1 on the battery tender here in florida is the same exact effect on battery life because of how hot it gets all the time battery tender all the time when bike is parked at home.

Battery tender is a must in my book.

Lets not rush winter yet, it's still in the upper 60's and 70's here.

I had a # of starting problems last year myself. Got a battery tender...I'm confident it will start now when it's cold.

A new battery will help even though it's only 2 years old they seem to loose their cranking power. Also I've tried about every battery out there and the HD one works best IMO. I would also use a cover over the bike while at work. I grew up in N.E. PA. and we had an open garage and the cars under it always started better than those that sat out in the open even though you would think they were at the same temp.
