Default 2010 Road King performance help

I am just getting ready to order my new 2010 Road King and have spoke to the dealer and asked him what upgrades as far as the motor would they recommend. Here is the list of stuff that they said they would do if it was their own new Harley. Please tell me what you think and if I should add anything else or not.... I am not a mechanic by any means and the 110" is out of the question.

2010 Road King
103" Screamin Eagle
Vance & Hines Monster Ovals
Vance & Hines Power Duals header
PC5 touring harness power commander 5
Screamin Eagle Heavy Breather kit

Sorry if this is a rookie question, but I can assure you, I have been riding Harleys for the better part of 20 years, just never had the opportunity to have one come from the dealer set up the best way possible. Want to do this right, and just once...

Thanks everyone

The 103 Stage II kit is well worth the money. I had this done on my 09 Ultra before delivery and the difference in low end torque is remarkable.

I would approach it in steps. Do the stage 1 first. If it's still not enough, try a different cam, then go to the 103.

Thanks guys.... I am going to talk with the dealer and a Harley mechanic again before I commit to anything. I am anxious to see what the numbers would be for horsepower and torque

2009 FLHRC Vivid black stock except for some bling

IMHO ride it and if you twist the wick and it dosn't do what you want then start on the engine.. It can be shown that set up will get you about 12 % increase in torque and hP and thats a lot of money and hassle for such a little increase. It is a touring bike.....

dude i got mine about two weeks ago, i changed mufflers to jackpot carbon fibers and cut the cat convertor out of the collector pipe and yehaa she goes like a cut cat, ive got a se aircleaner and zippers upgrade to install with a pro race tuner to tune it, this is the best running new harley i ever brought and seems to really like the free breathing mufflers plus they make the best sound, deep rumble the really growls when you crank her on, i think the new FLHR rocks

I would advise the exact opposite. With my 09 I went straight from stock 96" to 124". No "stage 1" BS, just bite off more than you can chew and chew like mad.

Its much cheaper to do it once and do it right.

Also have a look at the 107" kits from a few different suppliers and the S&S 106" kit. The 106" kit is as big as S&S are happy to run with the stock bottom end, it makes sense to go as big as possible when you are replacing something.

Like so many will tell you, an exhaust change (any of the reputable guys), a PCV, and a breather change will make a huge difference from your stock set-up and shouldn't hurt your chances of warrenty issues. After the warrenty is gone, then go "All-Out" with whatever size engine you want. Just my take.
