Default Installed Wild Pigs

I received and installed my Wild Pigs today. Without question, they release that Harley exhaust note the stock mufflers do such a good job of hiding. Nice deep rumble to them, and they wake up when you twist the throttle. Personally, I'll want mine a little louder at idle, but these will do for now.

Couple of things I did during installation that made it go easier:

1) I used a rubber strap wrench to crack the stockers loose. Once they started moving, they came right off.
2) I removed the chrome covers on the header pipe adjacent to the mufflers. Made re-installation of the clamp ring a TON easier.
3) With the clamp ring nut off, I still couldn't slide the ring over the muffler. I had to open it so one end of the ring rested on the stud to get it around the pipe collar.

Nice bike! How do you like your leather tour-pak? How does that compare in size/volume to the standard hard covered tour-pak? Is yours vivid black or black pearl? And is that a sundowner seat? I have mine on order from Zanotti's. It'll be here Thursday.

The Pigs rule! I get compliments all the time. Can't beat em if you are just looking for slipons. I actually added more fiberglass wrap around the baffles before I even installed them. They sound great.

Have I interpretted this right? Does adding a LONGER baffle make it louder? Seems to me a shorter baffle would make it louder...?

I have had WPP on 2 bikes over the last 4 seasons and I love em. I also get compliments on them all the time, then I mention the price.............

When I ever I order them, or when ever I get them for my buddies, I always ask Chris to include 2 extra pieces of baffle wrap. I found on my stock motor (stage 1 w SE-AC) that the extra wrap works great and mellows the sound on the highway, but still gives me the BARK I want if I need to pull the clutch in and crack the throttle to let a cage know Im there.
