All righty then, looking got a bit of direction. I just picked up what was sold to me as a factory HD Road King Tool bag. The bag itself is made of leather in a tear drop shap with a zipper opening on the side and a velcroed leather strip covering the zipper. It has three bolt holes on the mounting plate, one top, two bottom. Here's the question.......can anyone out there tell me where this little treasure goes? I have not been able to find the proper spot for the bag. Oh, my ride is a '97 Road King Police model. Any word's of wisdom will be appreciated.[8D]
If it's a teardrop shape, it's not for a Road King. That bag sounds like it belongs on a Softail (Heritage Classic or Fat Boy.) Road Kings normally use the rear saddlebag-guard bags.
