I have a TH on my bagger and a friend of mine has the Bassani on his 2009 Roadglide. I love my TH but I have to be honest the Bassani sounds better.
However I do think the Fatcat trumps both.

IMO, the Bassini's are much louder. Don't know about quality, but to my ears they are the loudest pipes I've heard.

I have the thunder header, the quality is not as good as the bassani (or anything else for that matter) but I love the sound.

With the Thunder Header you know it's not going be smooth at the welds, it may be a little off at the mounting points and it going to turn blue rather quickly -- if you can over look the afore mentioned items then the Thunder Header may be for you.

If you're a stickler for quality you may want to pass on the Thunder Header.

I have the B 2:1 and love it. Sounds awesome - great burble on shift over-rev, can run quiet when you want to sneak out of the garage in the morning;and barks when you get on it. I believe it's quieter than the TH. Black looks great (I've posted on this with a pic of my RKC in one of the tech forums - this is a hot topic these days - do a search and you'll find a bunch of threads).

Both are good pipes. Thunderheader has a better sound IMO, than the Bassani. I'm running the bassani megaphone slipon's right now and I like em.

Get the fatcat if you want your bike to sound like a metric scooter...hahaha. I heard one on a Street Glide and it sounded like crap. I had to look twice because I thought it sounded like a honda...hahaha

Fripple...........I've seen you post this all over the internet, and everytime I think you are full of $hit.

I've heard a bunch of Fatcat exhausts on many different bikes.....not a one of them ever sounded even close to a metric.

Easy buddy, calm down. HAHA! I'm just stating how I think they sound. With the stock 88" or 96", I do think the FatCat sounds like total ***. It just sounds metric and tinny to me.
Now, I've heard one FatCat that sounded plain nasty but I think he had a 117", cams, added compression, etc. Do I dislike the fatcat sound on a stock motor, YES.

BS on performance but I can't really comment on the chrome. Both are good.
Go thunderheader for performance and you can get the fake duel to make it look right. 2 into 1 is always better and there is no better performance then TH. Some may be as good but none better.
