Road Glide windshield vertical hight database: Post yours
Figured I would give this a shot. I want to try to compile a list of the vertical heights of all of the Road Glide windshields out there to use as a shopping tool for RG owners. Hopefully if it goes good we can get a sticky. Since Clearview is the only one that gives vertical height, it is hard to judge exactly how high a given shield is going to be. Most give a slope measurement from the edge of the fairing to the top of the shield.
So I am hoping all will participate. We are going to go by how Clearview measures vertical height. From the flat ledge just above the speedometer and the tach straight up to where the top edge of the shield is. See below pic. The best and most accurate way I have found is have the bike sitting upright and lay a yardstick or something similar on the top edge of the shield with a bullet level on it. When it is level measure up from the speedo ledge to the leveled yardstick.
I will get this started from what I have so far. Please feel free to ad your results to the ones missing (in bold red) or any I may have missed and I will edit this post. Remember this is for vertical height only. Not manufacturers listed height.

(hit the damn buy it now button before I noticed it was a Dome looked like a Euro in the picture lol) Dark Gray, heck might work better than the euro lol!
We need to get this completed and make it a sticky for sure!
Got it on, works pretty good looks better than I thought it would, measures 12 5/8's tall it does come back to the rider more, it looks like about an inch or so more than my 15" euro did it was 11" tall as stated above.
CB 17" Dome TR Super Step Contour Windshield...12.625 tall... closer to rider by an inch or better than 15" euro was...

Reason: Added info
I have the CV Large. I am curious to see how some of the sleek Euro shields may compare. Very good question. Also, you may want to add or combine your findings with this post https://www.hdforums.com/forum/touri...he-record.html. It may help in determining the correct shield for some of us.
Great post! Alot of it also has to do with the slope of the shield. Kuryakyn Airmaster stock says 14". I though I cut 4" off the top of mine but measuiring it now from the top of the radio it measures 11".
My Kuryakyn airmaster measured 14 1/2" from the shelf to the top of the shield. This is on a 2010 RGC, so it may differ on 09 and older Road Glides since they moved the fairing a little bit.
