FLHTim - how tall are you? Do you look through or over the 13" shield?

Not to hijack a post, but I prefer the clearview to windvest -- and LRS (forum supporter) preferred to windvest as well.

I'm buyin.

I have a clearview and have had 43000 troublefree miles.
I really like mine.
In fact I learned about clearview on this forum last spring(2008), so Thanks.

I'm 6 ft. The CB is about equal to my 9inch HD shield.

I'm 6' currently using the 12" it looks better than the 13". It is the dark tint I either look through it or on top, some say it is distorted to look through but if you look right under the lip it is fine. The 13" is really nice as for as wind is concerned although it tends to vibrate a little more at idle. If you do order one and it is to short before you reorder do what I did, tape some cardboard to it in 1" incrementes remove your helmet for a short ride so as to feel where the wind is on top of your head.
