Higher number is louder. 2.5 louder than 2.0

Rush told me anything above 2" is considered "aggressive," meaning high db. I went with 2" baffles and get lots of compliments on them. Good product.

I have 2.25" and they sound great, even better after 10,000 miles or so. This is the biggest Rush recommends for a stock 96" engine. Anything bigger or no baffles at all will have an effect on performance, negative, that is.

I have the 1.75 on mine and are loud enough for me. Know their there when you're cruising but not too loud. Get on it and they come to life. Great muffler.

You can get baffles from Jamie at FuelMoto or Rush sells them too. Some sizes can be found on ebay.

Check the packing as it burns out quick on the rush. When i checked mine at 6k the right pipe was almost all the way gone. I repacked with fiberglass cloth and it last longer than the crap rush uses.

I have the Rush with the 2.5's and love the deep loud thump. I say it sounds like two big tom toms.

As a friend of mine said once. " It's all about the noise boys."
