Default Tinting windshield

Has anyone tinted thier windshield? Looking at a Klock Werks 12" for a RG and would like it tinted darker. Was going to try tinting inside of the shield, but have "heard" that the tinting may eat away at the material the shield is made of. Can anyone confirm or deny??

That's the problem, the 12" doesn't come in dark smoke. Only comes tinted, which isn't dark at all IMO. 8" is dark smoke.

Yes I did this and I'm telling you It didn't work out to good. The tint bubbled up and when tried to take off it ended up pulling the factory coating that is on it. It made a mess as I let it dry then pulled it off. Don't do it.

Guess this answers that question. Looks like an 8" smoke

Yea I would. It took a bout 30 min to get all that glue or what not off. And then had a little hole in the clear coat I'll call it, that only i notice all the time that bugs the crap out of me.
