I'm thinking of putting the Panacea LED rear lights on my Road Glide. Saw a set last week on a Classic and boy are they cool. I'm looking at the laydown deluxe smoked rear light w/matching turn signals.
Anyone have any experience with these.
Terry
P.S. Sorry Mike, but I think Lisa is going to be mad again.[sm=badidea.gif]
I put the smoked turn sigs on my Classic and they're awsome.I'm still looking for the tail light (at a good price). My Buddy done it to his and it's looks GOOD.
Check with Mac. He is doing a group buy through M&M in June and they are giving us 5% off their usual discount and they carry the whole LED system including the laydown smoked deluxe tailight.
First of all Blue Dots are illegal in Illinois. Only allowed to have red or amber lense on rear (no blue) and only allowed to have amber on front (no red or blue). The blue dots are considered blue lens which is for emergency vehicles only. The other problem is that the brake light flashes 3 times before going solid red. This is considered a flashing red light (back to the old emergency vehicle excuse again). The good news is that not very many of us cops know or care about this law. The bad thing is that if they are looking for a reason to pull you over, you just gave them one. I've been running blue dots for over 20 yrs and have never been stopped. I'm going to take my chances with the new setup.
I would take my chances also. I saw a car the other day with the upper deck brake light flashing when brakes were applied. I don't know if this is a factory thing or what, but if it's good enough for cars, it should be more than great for bikes.
