adjusting pushrods

i put a set of new lifters and SE adjustable pushrods in a 2000 heritage yesterday. and can't get them to bleed down. we soaked the lifters in oil prior to install. put them in as per HD instructions. we waited 20 minutes for bleed down. no compression. waited on hour. no compression. anything past 1/2 turn and waiting... no compression. re-adjusted to the 2 1/2 turns and left it overnight. this morning... still not bled down. what am i missing here?

Did you adjust each pushrod on the heel of the cam?

yes, i've done these several times. did mine last week. just can't figure this one out.

Sounds like you will need to pull em out. I could understand one collapsed lifter but not all 4 at once. Who knows could have been a manufacturing defect, wrong type of lifter etc?

what kind of lifters did you use? semi-solid lifters have different pushrod adjustment procedures. Even if you put the limiter blocks in the stock style lifters you have a different adjustment procedure
