Default 06 Road King Customer Performance Mod Help?

I have an 06 KR Custom. I am looking to spend about 2500.00 in performance mods. What can I do in that price range that will give me the most bank for my buck. I do not want to sacrifice my warranty or reliability. I would LOVE to get to the mid 90's with HP. Cannot take my cousin's 1200 sportster kicking my butt on the highway anymore!!!![>:]

do the 95 inch stage 2 kit with cams, parts are 1049.00 (if you go through chicago HD its 20% off that). Should only cost about 10 hrs of labor at your dealer and its all hd/screaming eagle parts so the warranty remains intact. I have an 06 rk custom and I did it and the bike runs great....what other mods do you have....? the kit comes with hi flow air cleaner and screaming eagle catalyst mufflers. Kit will make your bike a 1550...should SMOKE your cousins sportster......Good Luck

Got a buddy with an '05 1200 Custom, just stays ahead of me. Ya gotta go with a 95" set-up to keep him behind. He is a small guy and thinks it's a Deuce![:-]

Find yourself a good tuner with a dyno to do the 95", and I think its better to have your cyclinders bore out and pick the cam you want for the results you are looking for. Do some research.

Currently I have RH Slip ons, and SE stage 1 kit, and a PCIII. He still easily gets away from me. I do see the 95" kit from HD, but they only claim that alone will get you to about 73HP in their dyno graph. I know I need to research regarding the cams which is why I am here as I figured this is the best place for that. So is what I need a 95" kit, and a cam (not the one that comes with the kit), and I can get up to about 90HP?
