Very Happy Owner 2006 Electra Glide Standard.
I have Always Rode Rigid Frame Chops, I Rigged Together, in The Past... This was My First "Adult" Bike I Bought New. I wanted a Touring Bike for Travel, But wanted to Keep the Feeling of Having a Motorcycle and Not a "Winnebago", (Sorry Ultra Classic).... 88ci '06 was Last Year of Carburetor,(?) But Fuel Injection Won out, and I'm Happy I went that Route. But, It Also Became The First Bike I've Had That I Do Not do Most of the Maintenance on Myself...
This Ride does Everything I want... Provides all Speed and the Cargo room I need, what I can't fit inside the boxes, gets Lashed to the Rear (Tent, BedRoll/Sleeping Bag, etc)
I have Done Minimum to The Bike... A Light Kit on the Back, custom Seat.
Happy Going ALong at 70MPH.. Don't Need the 96ci or 103ci Myself...
08 FLHT here.
9th bike and first HD.
Over 16k miles in 14 months.
Thinking of 103 and cams next spring.
Proly use Andrews 21 instead of SE-255.
