I have the yellow sears jack and an '05 FLHRI. The biggest annoyance to me is the crossmember on the bottom of the frame. If I go in front of or behind the cross member, it doesn't balance securely. If I try to put the arm of the jack in the crossmember, then the arm is just a little too wide for the crossmember channel to be a good a fit. I wonder what others, do?

Raising and lowering is a piece of cake, though.

Good idea!

Check out the Harley center stand or the display stand. Either one holds the bike up level. Put the jack under the bike and pump until it just about touches the bike. Line it up and go for it.

I have been using the Display stand for years just for this purpose. This time I used the center stand. Both work well. A lille pricey but I like to leave my bike upright anyway when not riding it.

I thought the same thing. Wouldn't the passenger side of the bike be the rear?

I have a question nobody has answered yet.

I have a Sears yellow jack. What do you secure the tie downs to on the jack itself?

Thanks

And where on the bike do you attach the tie-downs? The handle bars?

Exclamation Slowly, very slowly

It appears to me that I would like to be engaged to a motorcycle jill, jack just doesnt do anything for me at all. However this leads me to a story alas a short on on the time I was traveling alone through the hills of West Virginia and i stopped in one of these Mom and Pop small town motels where of course there was a daughter that helped me check in and fluffed my pillow
