Thanks for the compliments guys. When I figure out how to get a clearer picture posted I will take some detail shots. I've replaced tons of parts, internal and external, and some of them have to be seen.
Harleyrulz, I change up the windsheild if I am doing a trip over 500 miles, just for comfort. But just to the cottage of a weekend trip I keep the shorty on. I've change it so many times I can do it in about 1 minute.
Nice ride you got there Joe, I like the color combo. You running the stock windshield on trips? I got the windshield that is 1 1/2" lower than than the stock one and am getting a lot of wind, more than I want on a long trip. Thinking of cutting down the stock one about 3/4", only cause of where it hits my sight line.
Dave
Dave, I have three windscreens, the factory original, which I hate, I see it right at the edge, half through and half over, a smoked midway that I look over, but also can see through and the shorty black. I like the shorty, but it's noisy, and I can't hear the stereo at highway speeds, so when I am on a long trip I put on the mid height screen. Liz also gets more wind with the shorty, so if we are on a 4,000 mile run, I change it or she complains at every stop.
