hint on searching for a new bagger

I actually was looking for a 09 but for the most part they are all gone. Just as a side note this was this dealer groups 2nd chance. when I bought the silver bike in my sig. I had made a handshake deal on a Black and white one at the parent shop week later I call them to tell them I am on the way with the money and from the other end I get from the used bike manager (well after talking to the store manager we really cant sell that bike for what we said) so I told them I would let them know something on Monday went home picked up the phone called a shop 5 hours away and bought this bike for a $1000 less than the original deal on the B/W one. so this was thier last chance for anything more than parts

In August I was looking to purchase a RKC and thought that a leftover 09 was my best bet. I had negotiated a price, MSRP -2500 at the dealer 5 min from my house. I called my favorite dealer 35 min away at the last minute. They did not have a leftover 09, but would sell me a 10 at the same price (MSRP -2500). Well, long story short, I have my 10 from them and I put $2300 into a 103 kit with them. I think we are all happy, except for the nearby dealer. I will put it in their bike show next Spring.

This was only half of it they were also informing me that if you buy a new vehicle before Dec. 31 you get to write all the sales tax on your income tax (I already knew this it was part of my decision to buy a new bike ) so I was really paying only around 26k.
