The Hog Chopps give you plenty of room. They just don't look that pretty IMO.

I got some kury silver Bullits (E-Bay) for about $50.00. Got the clamps from The HD dealer. Ran the wires thru the engine guard and hard wired them to the turn signal / running lights in the fairing.

Agree, but cheaper, more air to engine and more room for big feet is why I am going to go with them.

Dont mean to throw in a wrench but I had the RG lowers and Hoppe vents, great in the cold but almost cooked my motor last summer on a trip to Canada. IMHO there is not enough air flow even with the vents in hot weather.
I sold them and Im waiting for the leather HD one that snap on or use velcro, if it gets too hot you can roll them up and throw them in the tour pack.

After much thinking, I ordered a set of Hogg Chopps lowers today. The price of them and the fact they are mounted forward of the engine guard is something I needed.

Im planning on using them on road trips and winter riding. During the summer riding around town and short trips I will go without the Hogg Chopps.
