Baggers definately rock, love mine, but I just cant part with my Fatboy. My custom fatboy is jealous of my bone stock Ultra because (when it i outa the shop, 3200.00 estimate) it gets ridden more.
To the casual observer, both have leather bags, windshield, 3 lights, 2 seats... same bike... However, after putting the wife on the back and spending the day riding I am sold on the better ride and increased passenger room on the RK. The cruise control is nice also.
Here is a pic of my RK Classic and a friend's Springer Classic before a morning ride with our wives in the hills of Arkansas. What a beautiful day on a pair of nice Harley's.
There is one thing that is better than owning a bagger. It is riding with buddies that have them! That way you can ride your softail but still stash your stuff.
I am sooo happy I got my bagger instead of the Fatboy. I was going to get a Fatboy Police Officer edition, I wanted to put a windshield, passing lamps, and saddle bags, which would have made it a Heritage basically.
The I realized that I really wanted the ârealâ cruise control, the radio would be nice and the tour pack.
I went with an Electra Glide and have never looked back.
I own a 2005 Sporty 883 C , tryÄąng to save some $$$$$ to get a road glÄąde but Äąts not the best tÄąme to save money for me .
Hope to get one next year . ( 2 years actually)
Went for a weekend tour wÄąth frÄąends and my GF , around 380 miles round trip , when Äą came back home Äąt was lÄąke Äą had a knÄąfe up trought my back for 2 days .
ThÄąnkÄąng to buy a more comfy seat but stÄąll thÄąnk the best solutÄąon Äąs a nÄące lookÄąng bÄąg road glÄąde .
