Stripped......... All parts except the fairing go to the painter tomorrow. I'll have to run the fairing down there Thursday morning, as it won't be here until Wednesday afternoon.

Not really....... The new paint is gonna make me see how crappy a bunch of other stuff is. And that means I'll be spending more to make everything else look as good as the paint. Can't wait to see it all back together and shiney though!

Got some of the painted stuff back today. The pics don't do it justice........... Should have the rest of it back by Tuesday or Wednesday. He still has to do the airbrushing on the bags and fairing. I've bought several new parts since last updating this thread. I also polished my lowers. I'll post some pics as I get it all back together this weekend. Now for reassembly........

Fenders installed, as well as new fender skirt, and new chrome fender spears. We filled the holes on the front fender where the 'road king' name was before painting it. I wish I had went ahead and removed the rivets while I was at it too. I also installed new axle covers to help with the polished legs. A week or so ago I sanded and polished the wheels too. They looked terrible before, and they're bearable now. Will get the tank put back on tomorrow, then I can take it for a test ride to see if I like the new bars I installed the other day. I'm gonna have to get a new seat next, I think. My old one looks like ****.........
