Would I be crazy?
* Tour Pack - They ain't cheap to buy - around $800
* Rear lights on the above tour pack - Come in kind of handy if you make them brake lights also.
* Lowers - Helps keep those legs warm during the cold rides. You're already losing the heated seat & grips. Now you're going to have your legs getting cold too. To buy them for the SG, you're talking another $700(or more).
* Intercom - Okay, maybe not a big deal here.
* Better stereo & 4 speakers on the CVO - Again, maybe not a big deal.
Not sure of engine size on the 2007 CVO Ultra - 103 or 110? Some people claim the 103's came be dynoed and put out rather good numbers if someone knows what they are doing. I've also heard that with the 110, you can't do anything else(i.e. go to 113) without having to buy new cases. I could be wrong & someone can shed better light on this. With the 103, there is a large range of things you can do.
You also mention the 2008 SG has the following added:
painted inner fairing
chrome front end
chrome wheels
chrome floating rotors
every chrome accessory imagineable
Didn't those come standard on a CVO?
I have to agree with those that say a CVO will ALWAYS be a CVO. It will be worth more than a SG with added accessories because most dealers don't care about what accessories you've added.
