Thinking of having my inner fairing painted as one of my winter projects. Ran across this place and wanted to know if anyone else has used him and what they thought of the work he does. Todd Spencer Enterprises in Bayfield, CO is the place. Looks to be fairly reasonable and the pictures I've seen look pretty sharp. Just wondering. Thanks
My painter here in cleveland charges $100.00 for the fairing and cap. that is prep painted and clear coated. Shipping shouldn't be bad for you. Here is a link to his shop. http://www.conleyauto.net/index.html
If you provided your locale, it would be easier for viewers to make a recommendation. Don't know if the guy you mention is local or requires shipping.
The painter can shoot candy red sunglo using the PPG paint. The paint codes are: 917827/1 (base coat) and 91827/2 (top coat). Your local PPG distributor or an auto body shop with a PPG mix station and software can mix the paint in a appropriate quantity for the job.
Probably the best bang for the buck cosmetic mod I've done to my bike except for repainting the entire bike.
Thanks for the info. I will check with the shops around here. I am in Iowa and would have to pay shipping to this place in Colorado. I can't wait to get it done.

WOW! $100 bucks, really?!? That seems incredibly reasonable to me.
I agree with everyone, it's the best 'cosmetic' mod that you can do. Makes the bike look much, much classier.

Realy, personily I like it black, looked at a lot of photos, and a few in person that where painted, the only ones that I thought looked at all classy where the ones, I think they are anniversery editions that are copper and black, just a little copper color around the edges, that one looks good, the others not for me!
I would put the $100 into something cool...like...well anything else!
Terry
That seems like one hell of a price!. We have a guy here in Florida that will do my white gold pearl for $300.00 You give him a panel cover to match up exactly and within a few days he comes to your location and installs. No down time as he takes your original inner. Also included in this is all new seal strips.
Other colors are $250.00.
I will post pics when I get around to it.
