Help!!!

Please help, anyone.

I'm trying, asap, to get the socket size for the rear castle/axle nut on my 2001 RK.

I've searched the forum and my manual, and get sizes that either are incorrect, or more likely, they are for the wrong year.

The forum search gets 36mm, ot 1 7/16", which is way too big.

I'm thinking it's a 15/16".

I always use my large adjustable Crescent wrench. Works fine. Sorry, don't have the size for the nut though.

Dunno about a 2001 but my 04 was a 36mm. One of the techs was convinced it was a 15/16" so I bought one and had to take it back to buy the 36mm. Maybe yours is the 15/16".

Well I finally got the nut off, took it to Loews and it's a 15/16". The 36mm is mega-huge and way larger than a 15/16th.

After having this problem numerous times over the years, I bought a cheap digital caliper from Harbor Freight. (wouldn't have helped you now, just for future reference)
