Default for you FL lovers

A few weeks ago I posted about my old evo ultra classic that I stroked and eventually had to sell, but I still had the original engine minus the cases. I finally got the parts back into a bike and this is her in her newest form. The old girl and I are back in the wind, Hardtail, 200 rear, 6 speed, 6 gal tanks, wideglide.

Very nice - hope that hardtail doesn't do you any permanent back injury tho! Enjoy!!

I know you don't, but I really wanted to be back on a hardtail, and the ride really is awesome with a soft seat and slightly lowered air psi in the rear. I just had to put together something different.

Ha, I think even a street glide might still be a bit smoother. you guys all know , bad road is bad road on any bike, and good road , you'd never know the difference. Until ya hit a bump layin low in a curve and the rear moves over a foot or so, but thats pretty rare to. I installed a 09 fender with hidden struts on the rear of this to cover my 200 rear tire. You wanna see a tight fit. Just bought on ebay my 09 tip light to finish it off.

That's a great reunion for you and the old motor. Funny how we get these love affairs going on with our bikes. Well done.

Speaking of those love affairs. I have built a few small block chevy's and the last one was really hot,but best of all my boss had me stick it into his 53' Jeep from the Korean war. Man that thing would fly, when you can keep it on the road.LOL Bottom line,I loved that motor, and before it was in the jeep it was in a 70'Ford Mustang. I bet I could go back to where I used to work and he'll have that same motor in something else, and if I pullled one of the heads I would know it right away. I love being a gear head.LOL
