Default New throttle control...like it?

As I mentioned in other posts, I am in the market for a Road King and trying to choose the year - I am nearly convinced of the '09 because of the new frame - but, I wonder how y'all like the new throttle control on these later bikes?

You can't really tell any difference from any other throttle control.

Agreed. No different than the old way.

You probably won't know the difference. Good luck with your new purchase.

The e-throttle occasionally lags when you snap it open really quick. I have had it do it on the street a bunch of times, and on the strip about 3 times. Its probably about .2 sec and its annoying because there is no way to know when it will do it. Only happens when I am shifting right on the limiter.

Besides that it is great, light and responsive and the cruise control is seamless.

The bars look a little cleaner. It works fine. I like it.

Enjoy it just fine and ditto on the cruise control. If I didn't know it was TBW I wouldn't know that it wasn't cable.

I used to do that with my sportster, but then again I would use a lighter spring. I can tell no difference between the throttle response on my Ultra than on the '07 Softail I had.

No difference in the response from the 05 I traded.
