Ya, I think I should run out and trade my Ultra for one of those butt ugly bikes because of some ipod thingy-dingy. Give me a break!!
The MP3 thingy-dingy is the least of the things Victory offers. They offer more HP and torque, a 4 valve engine, oil cooling, inverted forks, LED brake and tail lights, adjustable handlebars, what looks to be a quality seat, heated seat and handgrips, more luggage capacity as well s other improvements for less than HD.
I put 45,000 miles on a 2005 Dyna in 4 years and have put 13,000 miles on my FLHX in 8 months. I am very, very happy with my HD and have no plans to trade for Victory. However there are allot of people out there who couldn't give a Rat's A$$ about the HD name. All I am saying is if Harley isn't careful they will continue to lose customers and market share to companies like Victory.

That's a good thing, and will keep the MOCO on their toes. Seriously, I was on a 4000 mile trip this summer, in 7 states and never saw 1 Victory. I have saw 2, period. 1, a guy I work with bought and the other was a Vision.....Last year. The bike pulled into the lot we parked in to eat at the same restaurant, and my wife looked at it and said "that is the ugliest bike I have ever seen". And she came from riding crotch rockets. The driver had on a full face with that scrub brush mohawk thing on his helmet.
You're right, to each his own, and I hope they make it as a company. But they cater to a different group, at least for now.
exactly. I always found it odd that people in this forum criticize polaris because they make snowmobiles..........
at least they don't make frikkin golf carts
No you should run out and try a Victory because your Harley is under powered, over priced, vibrates worse than a concrete vibrator on steriods and has no handling capabilities past 5 MPH....
You know what's funny? Listening to the owner of an overweight, underpowered. vibrating V-twin telling the owner of another overweight, underpowered, vibrating V-twin that his bike is an overweight, underpowered, vibrating V-twin.
Ya'll need to test ride a sport bike sometime, it will give you a whole new prospective of performance. Then you can just STFU and enjoy what you chose to ride.

And my current ride:
Nice looking Hyabusa....But just FYI my Vision is by far NOT UNDER POWERED nor DOES IT VIBRATE, the NICE part of NOT BEING STUCK WITH TRADITION...I am getting 109 HP and 114 ft-lbs of torque at the rear wheel...
But agreed ride you like and STFU!!!
Plus I would wind up killing myslef on something that goes that fast, I only know two speeds....
One of the things I like about being a biker is there is a great variety of different types of bikes and riders. Its what makes being a biker interesting to me. But with that said, a Vision is one "Butt" ugly bike. Definitely not for me. Just not my style.
I do like the new Cross Country. I have sat on one but have not drove one yet. I am a big guy (6'6" 240#) and it does fit me better out of the box. I do like that they do not vibrate but not sure on the reliability. I had a SeaDoo in 1991 and it was a POS, motor blew 2 weeks after the warentee was over.

There are numerous Victory's with over 100K miles on them going strong...With no failures at all....
