Will a set of stock wheels from a 2009 road glide -ABS fit on a 2008 electraglide - ABS ??
The diameter is different but what about the hub/bearing set up?
Thanks
could you please make your self more clear? I will check back and answer your question once I know exactly what you mean.
Thanks FH,
I was checking to see if wheels from a 09 roadglide would fit on mt electraglide. The 09 roadglide has a 17" front but I don't know if its the same hub and bearing size.
I know the 09 electraglides will not fit the 08 but I don't know allot about the RG
Could you explain why a 09 will not work on a 08? All front hubs all use a 52 mm bearing OD. The same sealed bearing 3/4", 1", and 25 mm axle are all 52 mm. I do not care if it is a Dyna, Sportster, or bagger. If it is a sealed bearing than it is 52 mm OD. 3/4" and 1" are ie: 52mm X 25 mm X 1" or 3/4". All bearings with a 25 mm axle are 52 mm X 20 mm X 25 mm. The bearing on the left hand side is a different part # for either the ABS and non ABS. The ABS has a indicator in the bearing that registers on the wired ABS senser. The non-ABS has a spacer where the sensor was on the ABS drawing and the non-ABS bearing does not have a indicator.

I wish I could explain why it won't fit. I've called 3 dealers and they all tell me the samething. They say the 09 will not fit the 08. I don't know the change point and they couldn't tell me allot either. They simply say that by part # their wheels state ##- 08 and a different part number for 09-10
A dealer down the road has a nice set for 2010 at a great price (18" set) and said they won't work on my 08.
Is this BS from Harley??? I don't know.. That's why I was asking on here.
From what you tell me tho is that they should.

An 09/10 front wheel will fit an 08. Axle, brakes, forks are identical.
There may be some differences in the ABS sensor bearing but I'm not sure.
If it is different...press out the 09 bearing and insert the 08 bearing.
An 09 Rear Wheel is not going to fit your 08. The Rim/Tire is too wide for your 08 fender.
