Default Well it happen.............

I dropped her in the garage............

We were off to the river at 4am on Saturday, my alarm did not go off, I was running around half asleep. I needed to move her alittle bit, so I tried moving her without removing her cover, everthing went as planned except for the side stand. She pinned me between the wall. I could not get her off me. My son came out and pulled her off. I briefly checked her over at 4:30 am, she looked ok..............

Well today I checked her out...............OUCH there's about a 1/2" gouge in the fairing................

Well I'll take her in and see if it can be buffed out.........but...........[:@]

Like people have mention, it's not if you will drop her, it's when.............

Be more careful, learn from my mistake...........don't be an idiot and do things half a@@.

If only I would have removed the ..........................[:@]

Well we did have a GOOD time at the river.............

You have now placed a mark of ownership on your bike. It shows character.

Ride proud.

I read an article in an a farm and ranch mag where the reporter was talking about her Surburban that had many stains and scratches from years of use. She was thinking about trading and came to the conclusion that every stain and scratch had a story and a lesson to go with it. She decided not to trade.
I'm as fanatically particular about my bike as any control freak but my first scratch came from trying too hard not to damage my bike. So it is an everlasting reminder to me that things happen. My bike is still scratched and I still enjoy it.

I agree 100% . Several years ago I dropped our departments brand new Road King at a carwash because of tire dressing that was on the asphalt. It was extremly embarrasing when 20 people witnessed it. The bike also skid into a car and caused some minor damage to the bumber. Like stated above, it is not a matter of IF but a matter of WHEN !!

makes me feel a little less stupid... this past saturday i was at a friend's where i have been keeping my bike, i had to walk it through the grass on his side yard to get around his son's girlfriend's car. well, the grass was damp, lost my footing, and over she went. problem was, i was just close enough to the driveway that the front crash bar whacked the edge of it and left a nice mark that defineatly won't polish out... oh well, such is life.
